    International Film festival of Telangana

    Telangana International film festival has been started by persons having long associations with film festivals under the aegis of Indian film makers association , a non-profit trust to promote good cinema to the film enthusiasts of Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana . films have emerged as a universal experimental platform for both professional and amateur film makers alike. With proliferation of high quality digital technology at relatively low prices, every film enthusiast wants to embark on film making and films are the first stepping stone in that effort. TIFF is the unique event in India which showcases talents to short film making. It is the only annual International Film Festival of Telangana happening in India with awards in all categories.

    International Film Festival of Telangana -2025 ( 29th March 2025) The Jury will announce the awards during awards function (22nd February 2025 @ 6.30 pm)

    Terms and rules, Regulations:

    The Festival is meant for short films of maximum 20 minutes duration and will have the following sections

    i) World Competition for fiction films (maximum 30 minutes) produced after 1st November 2022
    ii) World Competition for documentary films (maximum 30 minutes) produced after 1st November 2022
    iii) World Competition for animation films (maximum 30 minutes) produced after 1st November 2022
    v) World Cinema films (Films / documentary / animation films of maximum 35 minutes) produced after 1st November 2022
    v) Country Focus (films from one or two countries & duration will be restricted to maximum 35 minutes each film)
    vi) Special section (tributes / homage/country focus etc)

      1. Entries for the Telangana International  Film Festival- 2025 are open for everyone. Participants under the legal age must submit a consent letter from their parent or guardian.
      2. The Short Film  can be based on any subject or concept. 
      3. The short film can be in any language. Subtitles Not Required.  
      4. The total runtime of the Short Film, including opening & closing credits, should strictly be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 35 minutes.
      5. All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have the permission and submit a copy to the Festival Organizers.
      6. The Last Date for Submissions is 25 th Feb 2025.
      7. After 25th Feb, 2025, we’ll begin out “Late Entry Submission” process, wherein you’ll be able to submit your short film for an additional entry fee of Rs. 1200. The Late Entry Submission deadline is 25 th FEB, 2025.
      8. Only Short Films produced & completed after 1st January 2023 are eligible for the festival.
      9. Short Films that were submitted for entry into the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 edition of the Filmingo International Short Film Festival are not eligible for entry again.
      10. The Entry Fee is  1200/- For Short Film and all.
      11. Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted, but each film must be accompanied by a separate form and entry fee.
      12. The Telangana International Short  Film Festival 2025 will be undertaken as an Offline-only event. The screening of all officially selected short films will be done  will be made available for streaming to a private audience and the files will NOT be shared outside the screening website.
      13. Indian Film Makers Association. reserves the rights to copy or use the material submitted by the participants in any form, online or offline, for the festival’s promotional and archival purposes. Note that your entire short film will never be shared with anyone or uploaded online without your permission. We understand that filmmakers want to keep the films private, and we will honor that.
      14. The  films that are selected for final screening will not be allowed to withdraw under any circumstances until the festival is over.
      15. Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
      16. Festival Organizers and Indian Film Makers association reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition anytime. any Additional Information share  sales@ifma.in
